Liz Stanton is taking time off from her Through Her Eyes Project to document the stories of 17 women from around the world. The women are in the U.S. for a program run by the University of Tennessee, the U.S. State Department, and espnW. It's called the Global Sports Mentoring Program. From one of the few Pakistani women covering sports as a journalist in her country, to one of Egypt's only female basketball leaders, the program reveals the challenges these women face and their dreams for their countries.
