We continue our Global Activism in India series with a visit to Delhi. We and India Development Service, met with the NGO, Community Youth Collective Learning and Leadership Journey a project of the NGO, Pravah. The project tries to inspire India’s youth to become leaders and overcome traditional societal barriers, such as class and sexism. Pravah received attention when co- director, Neha Buch, introduced President Obama before one of his speeches during his visit to India. We’ll chat with co-director, Sonal Chaturvedim, and young people about how they now achieve in areas that were cut off from them.
