On this week’s Global Activism we talk with three past Global Activists who are collaborating to help people. Their common denominator is that they help HIV/AIDS-affected people in Kenya. Keen Harrison, from Project Harambee, wrote us to say: “In my experience, small NGOs…tend to be territorial and competitive and actually don’t work together very much…I tend to see Harambee like my child.” But Keen came to understand that working together with other NGO’s was better for her and the people she serves. Keen joins us, along with Fr. Terry Charlton, co-founder and chaplain at St. Aloysius Gonzaga Secondary School and Guy Vaccaro, executive director and president of Upendo Village.
