Global Activism: Refugees In Kenya

Heshima Kenya, stands for “dignity,” “honor” or “respect” in Swahili. It’s also a Chicago-based nonprofit that says it provides “a lifeline and community of support, healing and empowerment for vulnerable, unaccompanied refugee girls and their children.”
