Global Activism: Supporting Girls Education In Senegal And Kenya

The overwhelming majority of girls in Africa drop out of school after 6th grade. 

When Amy Maglio was living in Senegal, she decided she had to do something to help more girls get into school and stay there. She created the Women's Global Education Project (WGEP) to support girls’ education in Senegal and Kenya.

Maglio is back to update us on what WGEP is up to help girls in those countries escape extreme poverty and oppression, through education.
