Global Activism: Teaching Kids About the Environment

The Sacred Keepers Sustainability Lab is a Chicago based, not-for-profit that strives to “teach...youth about the world around them by integrating environmental sciences, indigenous culture studies, urban ecology projects, service and philanthropy in effort to inspire...children to become true inheritors of the Earth.”

In April 2016, Sacred Keepers will take 12 Chicago Public Schools students on a service project trip to a Masai village in Kinuka, Kenya.

For Global Activism, we’ll speak with Sacred Keepers Founder, Toni Anderson and Klark Johnson, one of her students, who’s headed to Kenya.
