Global Notes: China's underground rock and roll scene

Rock and roll has always found a home around the world; from South Africa and Argentina to Thailand and Iran. China is no exception. Even with tight state controls over many aspects of Chinese society there is a healthy rock music scene in the country, sometimes just under the radar of the censors.
