Global Notes: Musicians under threat, repressed

On this week’s International Human Rights Day edition of Global Notes, we’ll take a listen to the music of El Haqed, Lolo, Fela Kuti, Kizito Mihigo and others. From Morocco to Afghanistan, musicians in many countries around the world have been censored and thrown in jail, forced into exile and threatened for singing songs their governments deemed unacceptable. Morning Shift and Radio M host Tony Sarabia joins us to share some of their music.
