Chicago’s got a new FM music station. Polish language WPNA bills itself as contemporary hits radio, playing the latest Polish pop music as well as hits from Europe. On this week’s Global Notes with Morning Shift and Radio M host Tony Sarabia, we turn the clock back quite a few decades for the sounds of Polish pop music from pre-World War II through the mid 1950s, and look at one of the biggest Polish pop bands from the 1960s.
