The University of Chicago’s Middle East Music Ensemble is a 45 piece orchestra that is dedicated to the study and performance of Middle Eastern music. This weekend the orchestra is putting on their Persian concert, a performance of classical Persian music centered around the Persian New Year and the balance of nature.
