Global Notes: The music of Ennio Morricone

This week on Global Notes we take a look at the work of legendary composer Ennio Morricone. The “ Maestro,” as he’s affectionately known in Rome, became known worldwide during his years composing western films for Italian directors, especially Sergio Leone. It’s that genre that he’ll be working with this time with Quentin Tarrantino. We’ll take a look at his career with Morning Shift and Radio M host Tony Sarabia. (Photo: Flickr/Karl-Ludwig Poggemann)
