GlobalFest 2014 focuses on fair trade in Latin America

The vast majority of migrants from Mexico and Central America come to the U.S. to escape extreme poverty and violence. Chicago Fair Trade (CFT) is partnering with the National Alliance of Latin American and Caribbean Communities (NALAAC) to present GlobalFest 2014. They want to educate people on how fair trade can improve lives and stabilize communities in Latin America. We’ll talk about GlobalFest and fair trade in Latin America with Katherine Bissell Córdova, executive director of CFT and Jen Moran, founder of the fair trade retailer, Greenola Style.
