Greek government rejects EU debt deal

Talks between the Greek government and the EU collapsed shortly after they got started on Monday. Greece is trying to renegotiate the terms of its bailout package. EU finance ministers have remained insistent that Greece continue to uphold the previous terms. Endy Zemenides, executive director of Hellenic American Leadership Council, is currently in Washington lobbying the Obama administration to push the EU to adjust the terms of the deal.
