On Monday pro-democracy protesters in Hong Kong agreed to clear a path on a road leading to government offices. But they have refused to disperse altogether despite requests from the government. Violent clashes took place over the weekend but protesters remain defiant. We’ll check in with Violet Law, special correspondent for the Los Angeles Times. She joins us from Hong Kong.
