It’s cold and flu season in Chicago, which has many of us reaching for the Therflu and chicken soup. But what do folks use in other parts of the world when a cold hits them? WBEZ’s Monica Eng surveyed the global cold remedy landscape a couple of years ago for the Chicago Tribune. Today she is here with her Chewing the Fat cohost Louisa Chu to kick off what we are calling Food Wednesdays and to offer an international perspective on the way folks treat colds around the world.
