A new report released by the Senate Intelligence Committee finds that the CIA did not fully inform the government about the methods it used for what it called ” enhanced interrogation,” techniques President Obama calls torture. The report also determined that the brutal methods used, including things like waterboarding, did not lead to any important intelligence leads, a claim which has been made by the CIA. We’ll discuss the treatment of prisoners both here in the US and beyond with Steven Hawkins, executive director of Amnesty International USA.
