On the evening of Friday, December 14, two  locations of Mexico Lindo Bar and Grill, in Portage and Knox, Indiana, were raided by Immigration and Customs Enforcement. To discuss, we’re joined by Ruth Needleman, professor emerita of Labor Studies at Indiana University and a long-time Gary, Indiana resident. For years, she’s tracked buses that come weekly to the Gary-Chicago International Airport. The buses drop off shackled immigrant detainees. They are later flown, usually to the Mexico border, and released. She will participate in a rally sponsored by the advocacy group, Northwest Indiana Resistance, tomorrow.
