Domestic extremists killed at least 50 people in America last year. Right-wing extremists are overwhelmingly to blame, according to a recent Anti-Defamation League report. 2018 was the fourth-deadliest year on record for domestic extremist-related killings in the U.S. over the last 50 years. Deadly shooting sprees contributed to last year’s high death toll. In 2018, firearms were the most commonly-used weapons in mass killings and other murders committed by right-wing extremists. Joining us to unpack the frightening statistics is Mark Pitcavage, a senior research fellow with the Anti-Defamation League’s Center on Extremism.
