Worldview‘s Jerome McDonnell talks to two listeners about their international experiences viewing solar eclipses. Larry was in Thailand a few years ago, but he had no idea that there’d be an eclipse. When he got there, he spent a day looking for transportation to drive two hours toward the eclipse. He was the only American on a packed bus. He describes it as a festive, beautiful, event of a lifetime. Jay saw an eclipse in Winnipeg 38 years ago. Eclipse chasers took off for Vancouver because they thought it was cloudy, but it ended up being clear, so Jay says the joke was on them.
