Justice Department Releases Redacted Version of Special Counsel Mueller’s Report

Today’s release of U.S. Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. elections started off with controversy. U.S. Attorney General William Barr began the day with his own press conference, hours before the media, public or Congress saw the report. He drew criticism for making qualitative statements about President Trump’s sincerity and state of mind as a basis for finding he did not collude with Russia or obstruct justice.
