After months of infighting and violence, Lebanon has put together a government. But various factions, internal and external, continually jeopardize the country’s stability. Rami Khouri is director of the Issam Fares Institute for Public Policy and International Affairs at American University of Beirut, and he’s editor-at-large of the Lebanon-based The Daily Star.
