In her film Little Voices from Fukushima, director Hitomi Kamanaka moves between two communities impacted by nuclear disaster- an area in Belarus that saw the effects of Chernobyl, and a community in Fukushima. Hitomi Kamanaka and Norma Field, professor of Japanese studies at the University of Chicago join us to talk about what’s happened in Fukushima since the nuclear disaster struck in 2011 (Photo: Flickr/Lucas Wirl)
