Malik Jalal is a self-described community leader and anti-drone activist with the North Waziristan Peace Committee in northwestern Pakistan. He believes he’s been targeted for assassination by the U.S. for being a terrorist.

Jalal recently penned an op-ed declaring his innocence, accusing the U.S. of trying to kill him because of his activism against drone warfare.

We talk about Jalal’s article and what it’s like to be on the U.S. terrorist “Kill List” with Jennifer Gibson. She’s a human rights attorney with the UK-based human rights organization, Reprieve, the group representing Jalal.
