Michael Flynn Resigns As National Security Advisor
National Security Adviser Michael Flynn has resigned after admitting he misrepresented to the White House conversations he had with Russia’s government.
Flynn originally maintained that he did not discuss, prior to President Donald Trump taking office, the possibility of lifting U.S.-imposed sanctions on Russia.
We discuss the fallout with Juan Cole, professor of history at the University of Michigan. Cole publishes the blog Informed Comment and his most recent book is The New Arabs: How the Millennial Generation is Changing the Middle East.
