WBEZ film contributor and director at Facets Chicago Milos Stehlik interviews the world’s great filmmakers. Today, he chats with legendary Argentine filmmaker Lucrecia Martel. The Gene Siskel Film center will host a retrospective of her work as part of the their “Panorama Latinx” series. Martel is part of the so-called “New Argentine Cinema” movement, which emphasizes a visual and aural language, in addition to complex dialogue. The series begins April 20, 2018.
