The 71st Cannes Film Festival is over.  WBEZ Film Contributor Milos Stehlik is back from the south of France. He reflects upon highlights, including the Japanese film, Shoplifting, winning the festival prize for best picture (Palme d’Or), and Spike Lee’s attention-grabbing speeches.

Milos also pines over the South Korean film, Burning. Milos’ personal favorite, and the favorite of many, at Cannes, Burning was shutout of award honors.
