The Netflix dramatic release Mudbound, directed by Dee Rees, is gaining Oscar buzz. The film follows two men, one white, one African-American, on their return home from World War II, to work on a farm in rural Mississippi. Aside from their struggles with PTSD, the men along with their families attempt to deal with racism. WBEZ film contributor Milos Stehlik of Facets joins us review the film. Mudbound also runs this weekend at iPic South Barrington theater.
