Novelist Mohsin Hamid satirizes transforming South Asia

Using the language of self-help, Mohsin Hamid tells the story of a South Asian man with humble beginnings who strikes it rich in an unnamed big city in his latest novel, 'How to Get Filthy Rich in Rising Asia.' Hamid, who also penned the novels 'The Reluctant Fundamentalist' and 'Moth Smoke,' grew up in Lahore and went to Princeton University and Harvard Law School. He stops by Worldview for a chat.
