President Obama is expected to announce a set of immigration policy changes that will be carried out via an executive order. It’s expected the changes could halt the deportations of up to five million undocumented immigrants. He’s also expected to expand the protections for “Dreamers.” Egle Malinauskaite, vice president of Undocumented Students and Allies at IIT and Chicago Ambassador of Fwd.us, and Maria Gonzalez, co-founder of Undocumented Students and Allies join us to talk about the proposed action and what they hope to see next.
