One of the most pertinent issues facing Pakistani society is terrorism, but the issue is one that many Pakistani were uncomfortable discussing, until recently. The Peshiwar bombings last December convinced many of the need for a targeted approach to tackling terrorism, but one of the most successful efforts so far comes from an unexpected source; comic books. Mustafa Hasnain, founder of the company Creative Frontiers, is the creator of Pakistan’s first digital comic book series, Paasban, which highlights issues of extremism in Pakistan.
