Pakistan suspends private news channel's license

This week Pakistan suspended the license of ARY News, a television news channel that has been very critical of the government. The Pakistani media regulator says it revoked the channel’s license for 15 days because its programming has “maligned” the court system. This is the second time this year a private news channel has had its license suspended. Amnesty International has called the suspensions “politically motivated.” Mustafa Qadri , Pakistan researcher for Amnesty International, joins us to talk about the state of the press in Pakistan.
