Earlier this month, the Romanian Parliament passed a law proposed by the ruling Social Democratic Party (PSD)  that would make it harder to prosecute corruption in the government. Romania has struggled with Corruption for decades, in a movement big enough to spawn its own opposition political party: the Save Romania Union.
