Portugal declares three days of national mourning for soccer legend Eusebio
Eusebio da Silva Ferreira, known as Eusebio to his fans, died earlier this week at the age of 71. He was voted one of the ten best players of all time and was one of the first African players to gain international recognition. We’ll discuss his career with Simon Kuper, a columnist for the Financial Times and author of Ajax, The Dutch, the War: Football in Europe during the Second World War and Soccernomics.
