Thousands of refugees are currently stranded at the Greek-Macedonian border. According to news reports, humanitarian conditions at the camp along the border are said to be worsening. Macedonia tightened controls after Serbia closed its northern border last week. Greece and other EU countries have struggled to manage the large flow of refugees fleeing countries like Iraq and Syria, and the refugee crisis has raised questions about the future of the EU itself, as some member countries have imposed border controls. We talk about the refugee crisis and other important issues facing the EU with Ambassador Henne Schuwer. He is Ambassador of The Kingdom of the Netherlands to the United States.
