Irish journalist Paddy Woodworth has passion for environmental writing. But he’d never heard of a “restoration” project until he was at the International Writing Program at the University of Iowa and took part in a prairie weekend in 2003. That visit to a prairie restoration project started a global journey. Paddy spent years visiting restoration projects in Costa Rica, New Zealand, Chicago, and in his own backyard in Ireland.
