Ringling Bros. to stop using elephants in 2018

Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus announced last week that it plans to stop using elephants in their acts beginning in 2018. We’ll talk about the decision with Stephen Eisenman, art history professor at Northwestern University. Eisenman is also a staunch animal rights activist. His two most recent books are The Cry of Nature: Art and the Making of Animal Rights and Sue Coe: The Ghosts of Our Meat.
