Since 2001, the
Salaam-Shalom Music Project has bridged the Abrahamic faiths through song.

Blending the cultural and religious customs of the Middle East, East Asia and Eastern Europe, the musicians from across the Chicago area perform on instruments native to their own backgrounds.

For the bandleader Lori Lippitz it’s a way of showing how faith groups can get along in a world that seems increasingly divided. The Salaam-Shalom Music Project joins Worldview with a live performance in the Jim and Kay Mabie Performance Studio.
