With laws that prevent women for driving, Saudi Arabia is notorious for its treatment of women. But many women have forged an independent path in Saudi Arabia, despite the extremely conservative culture.

We’ll talk with Faiza Ambah, a Saudi Arabian filmmaker, author and journalist. She was one of the first female journalists to become a working reporter in her home country. Her most recent film is “Mariam”
