The crown prince’s war in Yemen didn’t impede on the trips success. Saudi Arabia continues to bomb Yemen and blockade aid to the country. The U.N. refers to Yemen as the “world’s worst humanitarian crisis.” Shireen Al Adeimi, a doctoral candidate at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, is among those who oppose the U.S.-Saudi nexus vis-à-vis Yemen.
