Scots get ready for independence referendum next week
On September 18th voters in Scotland will decide whether they should split from the United Kingdom and become independent or remain a part of the UK. Until recently, the “no” vote held a steady lead, with polls suggesting that a majority of Scots preferred to remain a part of the UK. But a new poll released over the weekend suggests that a small majority now actually favors independence. We’ll find out what’s behind the possible shift in public opinion with John McDermott, a columnist for the Financial Times.
