In a new op-ed, the indigenous rights NGO, Survival International, declares indigenous “uncontacted tribes” in Brazil face genocide under newly-elected president, Jair Bolsonaro. Survival states his new policies will accelerate displacement of indigenous peoples from their ancient lands, bring deadly disease, and increase massacres from agribusiness-supported militia.
