Taiwanese students protest trade deal with China

Students in Taipei have taken to the streets in protest over a trade deal with China for the last several weeks. Over the weekend at least 100,000 people came out in protest over the deal, which they say did not go through the proper parliamentary review process. China still regards Taiwan as part of its territory. Shelly Rigger, a professor of political science at Davidson College and the author of several books, including most recently, Why Taiwan Matters: Small Island, Global Powerhouse, joins us to discuss the protests.
