Taking Apart Components Of Trump's Policy In Asia

We discuss President-elect Donald Trump’s foreign policy in Asia, from promises to reevaluate the U.S. recognition of the "One-China" policy and to his administration's view on China's island building in the South China Sea

Bruce Cumings, professor of history at the University of Chicago, helps us take apart the components of his policy.  Cumings is also author of numerous books on the Korean Peninsula including, Parallax Visions: Making Sense of American-East Asian Relations at the End of the Century and North Korea: Another Country.
