Terrorists Strike At Popular Park In Lahore, Pakistan

A terrorist attack in Lahore, Pakistan, killed at least 72 people and injured more than 350 on Easter Sunday. Many of the victims were children. 

The government has detained and questioned several thousand people as part of their investigation. 

The attack took place at Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park, a popular park in the center of city. Pakistani-American Navaid Abidi says it’s the equivalent of attacking Millennium Park in Chicago. 

He joins us to talk about the bombing, the group that carried it out and the government’s response.
