The 2016 Peace on Earth Film Festival kicks off this Thursday. The annual fest strives to raise “awareness of peace, nonviolence, social justice and an eco-balanced world.” It runs March 3rd through March 6th at the Chicago Cultural Center. This year, the festival will screen 26 films from 11 countries. Nick Angotti, festival co-founder and executive director, is back to preview this year’s films. Len Morris, director of the film, “The Same Heart,” also joins us. The film is showing at this year’s festival. Shot in 11 countries, the documentary traces the impact of inequality on children across the globe.
