The future of intelligence

In a vote last week lawmakers voted against a House amendment that would have defunded the National Security Agency's collection of phone records. It was the first vote to take place on the issue of intelligence gathering since former NSA contractor Edward Snowden leaked documents that revealed the agency's secret program. Peter Juul, a policy analyst with the National Security and International Policy team at the Center for American Progress joins us to talk about the future of intelligence gathering in the United States.
