Feminists in Israel are concerned about the influence they feel religious extremists have over Israeli culture, as well as its secular law and institutions. Elana Maryles Sztokman is an Israeli-American feminist, activist and former executive director of the Jewish Orthodox Feminist Alliance (JOFA).
