On the ballot today in Colorado (Proposition 105) and Oregon (Proposition 92) are referenda to label foods that contain genetically modified organisms or GMOs. A similar measure failed in California. Vermont, Connecticut and Maine have GMO labeling laws. The EU has also passed legislation regarding GMO’s.
