The United Nations calls Yemen the world’s worst humanitarian crisis. Three-quarters of Yemen’s population require aid and protection: 16 million Yemenis lack access to safe drinking water and sanitation; 17 million are food insecure - at risk of starvation; and over 16 million lack access to adequate healthcare. She’s political science professor at the University of Richmond.
