The story behind the kidnapping and death of three Israeli teens

In the wake of three Israeli teens being found dead in the West Bank, there has been little information on what exactly happened to the teens from the moment of their mysterious disappearances. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who accuses Hamas of the incident, has repeatedly vowed to take “revenge." A Hamas spokesperson denies any involvement saying, “Only the Israeli version of the events has been published…No Palestinian group, Hamas or any other group, has taken responsibility for the action, and thus the Israeli version can’t be trusted.” In analyzing Israel’s potential response, journalist Michael Omer-Man, wrote that, “[Netanyahu] faces problems balancing domestic pressure for revenge [with] Israel's overriding security need to preserve the [Palestinian Authority].” Omer-Man is managing editor of 972 Magazine, an Israeli-Palestinian online news publication. He’ll join us from Israel to fill us in on what we do and don't know about this case.
